Our PMU Express insurance policy is a comprehensive insurance package which includes:

$2 Million Personal Liability & Indemnity Liability
$2 Million Waterskiing Liability
$2 Million Uninsured/Underinsured Boater Protection
Agreed Value Coverage for Vessels 9 Years Old or Newer/Actual Cash Value settlement on partial and total losses for vessels older than 9 years
$5,000 Personal Effects Coverage
$2,000 Reimbursement of Emergency Expenses (Emergency Towing)

Express PWC Policy Information

If your client meets the following criteria you can quote, bind and issue a policy from our state-of-the-art broker portal

  • A resident of Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta and is  aged 20 or older
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience operating similar boats and a valid PCOC
  • Boat is less than 20 years old
  • Less than 2 boat claims in the past 5 years
  • The boat is max. length 30′, max. value $50K (boat & trailer)
  • Max. speed 60 mph
  • Boat construction is fibreglass, aluminum or fabric
  • Boat is used for personal pleasure use only

  • Bowriders/Runabouts
  • Pontoons
  • Cuddy Cruisers
  • Cruisers
  • Ski/wake boats
  • Jet boats
  • Fishing boats
  • Trawlers
  • Fiberglass, aluminum and fabric/rigid hull inflatable construction

Excluded boat types from Express Policy

High performance (+60mph) such as Baja, Donzi, Fountain, Formula, as well as canoes, kayaks, wooden boats, custom made boats, bass boats and boats used for racing (except sail boats)

  • Deductible waived in a no-fault accident
  • Emergency towing reimbursement
  • Boat owners choose their own repair location
  • Damage caused by vermin is not excluded
  • Loss of use coverage and personal items coverage
  • Various payment plans accepted
  • Financing available with monthly payment plans
