1. For vessels south of 40 degrees North Latitude, during hurricane season which runs from June 1 to November 30 will have some policy restrictions. It is important to note that any damages caused by or resulting from a named windstorm – which is named by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – will be excluded, unless your boat is under 30′ in length, and is stored in a hurricane proof building during this period.

2. Lightning Strike Deductible – all losses or damages to electronic equipment arising or resulting from lightning will be subject to a deductible of $10,000 or 10% of the amount of insurance, whichever is greater.
